Quality Assurance Dates for 2026
March 22 at 1 pm - Youth Activities Building
April 28th at 7 pm - Virtual - Zoom
June 14 at 2 pm - Youth Actities Building
Quality Assurance is an Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA) requirement for all youth in Ohio to participate in their county fair when they take livestock. Exhibitors will not be able to show thier animal at the fair unless they particiapte in QA. Quality Assurance is required for all breeding and market projects for poultry, rabbits, beef, dairy, dairy beef, swine, goats, and sheep. Quality Assurance will NOT be offered in the clubs for 2026.
This program teaches 4-H youth how to use best practices that support the production of quality and safe animal products for consumers, as well as responsible animal handling, care and welfare in not only farm animal production, but also with companion and performance animals.
