  4. Allen Co. Jr. Fair Entries

    Jun. 14, 2026

    Due July 1st. Jr. Fair Entries must be made for every project that will be exhibited at the Allen Co. Fair. This online entry is separate from the 4-H Online Enrollment that was made in the spring. Entries must be made for Livestock, Special Interest, and Cloverbud projects to show at the fair, recieve a fair pass, receive premiums, and participate in the auction for market animals.

  6. Quality Assurance

    Quality Assurance is an Ohio Department of Agriuculture (ODA) requirement for all youth in Ohio to participate in their county fair when they take a livestock project. Exhibitors will not be able to show their animals at the fair unless they participate in QA. Quality Assurance is required for all breeding and market projects for poultry, rabbits, dairy, dairy beef, swine, goats, and sheep. Quality Assurance will NOT be offered in clubs for 2026.

  9. Market Beef and Dairy Beef Steer Weigh In

    Market Beef and Dairy Beef Steer Weigh In will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2026 from 8 am to 10 am. This is a mandtory weigh in for all Market Beef (steers and heifers) and Dairy Beef Steers. Exhibitors may show more than two animals, but they will be limited to TWO trips through the sale ring.

  10. Livestock Auction Checks

    Oct. 23, 2025

    Livestock Auction Checks are available for pick up if:

    1. All of your buyers have paid. Several buyers have not paid yet. Call the office at 419-879-9108 before making a trip.

    2. You must provide the Allen Co. Jr. Fair Photo ID of the exhibitor.

    3. All Thank You cards must be completed. You can bring them with you to the office, or email Kelly Coble a photo of them and drop them in the mail.  coble.19@osu.edu
