Organic Whole Farm Planning Workbook

WOOSTER, Ohio — Ohio State University’s new Organic Whole Farm Planning Workbook may be purchased online now at OSU Extension’s eStore. Go to http://estore.osu-extension.org/ and enter the title under “Search Products.”  The book (8.5 by 11 in., 108 pp., coil-bound, $20) is designed for new or current organic farmers. It gives step-by-step guidance for developing a holistic transition plan and for producing a completed organic farm plan as required by certifying agencies.

Ohio State’s Organic Food and Farming Education and Research (OFFER) Program, part of the university’s Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center (OARDC), is the publisher.  The new book serves as a companion volume to OFFER’s A Transition Guide to Certified Organic Crop Management (2008, 8.5 by 11 in., 74 pp., paperback, $15).
