About Family Nutrition Program

The Family Nutrition Program is a nutrition education program with a goal of helping food stamp participants and eligible nonparticipants acquire knowledge, skills, attitudes, and changed behavior necessary for maximizing resources to achieve nutritionally sound diets. The target audiences in the Family Nutrition Program are adult food stamp participants and eligible nonparticipants. The Ohio State University Extension's Family Nutrition Program (FNP) is funded by Midwest Region Food and Nutrition Service, United states Department of Agriculture. FNP is a joint partnership between the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and OSU Extension.
