Restoring America - One Native Plant at a Time

We are living in a time of social, economic and political upheaval. In the midst of this turmoil, our precious natural areas and resources - the often forgotten riches that made this country what it is today are under attack by growing number of invasive species and by avarice politicians and businessmen.......

These natural areas and the wildlife and plants that occupy them are our heritage.  Once they are destroyed, they can never be replaced.  These threats are not new. An ancient Chinese proverb states: "If you are thinking a year ahead, sow a seed.  If you are thinking ten years ahead, plant a forest.  If you are thinking 100 years ahead, educate people."  This conference emphasizes the important of the individual working in unison with other individuals to preserve our natural heritage.  " It is time for all of us to get together and in unison make a test of our strength."
