Life/Local Series at Bryn Du

Lectures start at 7pm and topics for 2012 will include:

 

Shari Gallup, extension educator for Family & Consumer Sciences of the Licking County Ohio State University Extension Office, will offer classes this spring that will cover a range of health issues. The classes, part of the Life/Local Series, are offered at the Bryn Du mansion (537 Jones Road) and are free and open to the public.

Tuesday, April 24: “Eating Healthy on the Run? Is it possible?” If you find your steering wheel as your dinner table or reaching into a drawer full of “delights,” this class will give you solutions to being able to eat quickly and healthily while dining on the run.

Thursday, May 17: “Sun Safety and free Dermascan Screenings.” You might not know the true condition of your skin. This program on sun safety will discuss skin problems are hard to see without the naked eye. Free Dermascan skin screenings will follow the program.
