Licking County 4-H Committee receives donation from Monsanto as a part of their America's Farmers Grow Communities program. Sue Keller of Hebron was selected as a program winner and designated the Licking County 4-H Committee to receive the $2,500 donation. Licking County 4-H Committee receives donation from Monsanto as a part of their "America's Farmers Grow Communities" program at the "Salute to Agriculture" breakfast held Saturday, March 12 in Granville, Ohio. David Shipley of Newark, Ohio was selected as a program winner and designated the Licking County 4-H Committee to receive the $2,500.00 donation. David & Melanie Shipley along with the Monsanto representative, Bill Girten, present the check to 4-H Committee members. News Item Local resident, Orville Felumlee, was recognized recently by Park National Bank as a “Difference Maker”.
Orville was one of two individuals awarded this honor in the Licking Valley area. He was recognized for his support of local youth organizations, including both 4-H and FFA.
