Requirements to Exhibit Livestock at The Hartford Fair:

UPDATED 2/29: 2012 Junior Fair Livestock/Animal Requirement Summary - (Update to the Breeding & Market Rabbit Registration/Tattoo Dates)   Exhibitor information regarding exhibit limits, dates of possession, pre-fair weigh-in/tagging dates, clinics, entry deadline, and various animal and health requirements.

Livestock Quality Assurance:

2012 Hartford Fair Jr. Quality Assurance Guidelines

Any Hartford Fair youth exhibitor who has not attended one approved Junior Fair Livestock Quality Assurance training will be ineligible to exhibit livestock (in the areas requiring QA training) during the 2012 Hartford Independent Fair if they are unable to complete a Quality Assurance training by June 1, 2012.

Livestock Project Judging Interviews & Skillathons:

Project judging interviews and skillathons will be held during the Hartford Fair for 4-H and FFA Junior Fair exhibitors.

Changes to 117R Beef Resource Handbook and 194R Sheep Resource Handbook - Although members and their families are not being asked to purchase the revised editions of the Beef Resource Handbook and the Sheep Resource Handbook, anyone with the old one on hand might feel more comfortable knowing the exact nature of the changes.
