Reminder...e-Postcard due May 15:

All Community 4-H Clubs are required to file an e-Postcard (990-N) with the Internal Revenue Service by no later than May 15.  This is an annual requirement.  Also, proof that each club has attempted to file, whether successful or not, is now required.  A copy of your proof of filing must be submitted to Lisa as soon as possible after you have filed.  Please call the office (670-5315) if you have questions.  Click HERE for 990-N filing requirements.

Advisor Opportunities:

4-H Volunteer Video Training - The State 4-H Office has prepared this video as an orientation for 4-H volunteers, but it is a wonderful resource for both new and returning advisors. Topics include: An Introduction by State 4-H Leader Tom Archer, Roles & Responsibilities, Working with Youth, Non-Traditional 4-H Programs (presented by Sally McClaskey), Experiential Learning, Managing Risks (presented by Lisa McCutcheon), Club Management, Working with Parents, Opportunities Beyond the Club, and Special Needs Youth. Honor Club Application - Due September 1 of each year. Clubs earning Honor Club status will be recognized at the Fall Recognition Event. This form can also be in your Club Resource Book.

Licking County Community Club Advisor Handbook - This handbook is written specifically for Licking County 4-H advisors and includes volunteer responsibilities, standards of behavior, guidelines, planning, and opportunities.

Planning 4-H Service Activities - Service activities help 4-Hers develop good citizenship. Every member's 4-H experience should include citizenship development and service activities.
