4-H Cloverbuds

Cloverbuds is a program for boys and girls that encourages creativity, play and fun with friends! The 4-H Cloverbud program includes age-appropriate activities for children who are at least five years old and in kindergarten through second grade.

Cloverbud members explore the areas of healthy lifestyles, environmental and earth science, citizenship and civic education, plants and animals, consumerism and family science, science and technology, personal development, community and expressive arts.

Cloverbud Activities:

Cloverbuds meet as part of our community clubs, during Cloverbud Day Camp each summer and at other special events and activities. Find a club offering Cloverbuds and details about other upcoming events below.

Cloverbud Day Camp:

Join us each summer for a two-day day camp where Cloverbud campers will enjoy games, stories, crafts and other activities supervised by adult volunteers and teen counselors. Registration information will be posted when available.

Five Senses, Making Air Work, Weather Fun, One-Act Plays, Art Exhibits, Making Healthy Food Choices, Safe at Home, Nature Fun, My Feelings, Be Smart with Money, Pets, Our Feathered Friends and more.

Ohio Cloverbud Program Series II:

This notebook includes 25 complete lessons designed to last 30-60 minutes and may be borrowed or purchased from the Licking County Extension Office. Topics include:

The Wonder of Water, Bubble-Mania, Storytelling, Sports, Food Fun, Looking Your Best, Habitats are Home, Wildlife, Celebrations Around the World, Building Character, Weaving and Dyeing, Ant Antics and more.
