Saturday May 5th is HC 4-H Livestock Round-Up. This event includes Quality Assurance education 9:00-10:30am at the livestock show arena. At 11:00 am we will be having mini-clinic on fitting and showmanship for the following species: Horses, Beef, Swine, Sheep, Goats, Poultry. Come learn more about taking care of animal/s and preparing them for exhibition.

HC 4-H Endowment Annual Dinner & Program
St. John's United Church of Christ, Holgate
Help Henry County 4-H Endowment honor the 2012 HC 4-H Hall of Fame Inductees, introduce our 4-H scholarship recipients and enjoy an evening with family/friends.
The Hot Flashes from Pemberville, OH is the featured entertainment. This year the dinner features Pork Loin, Potatoe, Californian Blend Vegetables, Salad Bar, Pie and Beverage. Social 1/2 hour begins at 6:30pm with dinner being served at 7:00pm
Cost is $25.00 per person~ Proceeds from the dinner are deposited in the Henry Co. 4-H Endowment account. Interest generated from the account is returned to the county in September and is used for a variety of 4-H activities.

Quality Assurance for Livestock Project Members

Mandatory Quality Assurance education session for all 4-H and FFA members 8 or 9 and in the 3rd grade through 18 years of age. At least one parent is asked to attend the QA education with their child/ren the first 3 years of a member's enrollment in a livestock project. Member's 12-14 years of age and 15-18 years of age may opt to test-out of QA under each of those age levels.
