Time to Think About Ohio 4H Achievement Applications
Ohio 4-H Awards Ohio 4-H offers a variety of awards and opportunities at the state level.There are 25 4-H achievement programs you can apply for! to apply you must be between 14-18 by Jan. 1 of the current year, currently enrolled as an Ohio 4-H member, have at least 1 year in the program area applying for, have not won in that area in the past. Areas include all livestock, Carteens, Env. Science, Food and Nut., Gardening, health and safety wood working and much more! We have a training scheduled for Dec.29th at the Gallia Ext. office to help you fill out your forms! You could win great trips all over the country!

 4H Club Packets are Ready For Pick Up !!! Join 4-H in 2012!
4-H Clubs are like people, no two are exactly alike! Finding the right fit is important not only for the new members but also for the parents. Gallia County currently has over 70 4-H clubs to choose from. Some clubs are specialty clubs with all the members required to take the same project, for example: 4-H Horse clubs, Shooting Sports club, or 4-H Dog Clubs. Others are Community clubs with members taking a large variety of projects. Some clubs though not a specialty club may have one particular project that most of the members take, for instance swine projects, or cattle projects. Other clubs may require its members to take a non-animal project as well as the traditional animal projects. Others still may take no animal projects at all.
