Ohio State University Extension Food and Nutrition Program is funded by Midwest Region Food and Nutrition Service, United States Department of Agriculture. FNP is a joint partnership between the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and OSU Extension in an effort to improve the level of nutrition education of families and individuals who are food stamp participants or eligible nonparticipants. FNP began in Ohio in the fall of 1992 and works primarily with older adult groups.
