Dog Clinic - May 12, 2012

This clinic starts at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 12, at the Junior Fair Building (Delaware County Fairgrounds).  You will learn about grooming, showmanship, obedience, agility, rally obedience.  This will be a valuable clinic to attend, as there will be many changes this year with new rules, classes, etc.  Please do not bring your dog.

4-H Poultry Clinic - May 19, 2012

Delaware County Poultry Clinic is 10:40 a.m. to noon, Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the Delaware County Fairgrounds Coliseum.  An all species Quality Assurance program is offered 9:00 - 10:30 AM in the Merchant's Building. Click here for flyer.

Rabbit Clinic - May 19, 2012

Learn more about showmanship and rabbit skillathons at this clinic from 10:40 AM to 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 19 at the Delaware County Fairgrounds in the Merchant's Building.  An all species QA/PQA program is offered 9:00 - 10:30 AM.  Click here for flyer. 

Photography Clinic - May 19, 2012

This clinic is 10:00 AM to Noon, Saturday, May 19 in the Junior Fair Building on the Delaware County Fairgrounds.  The clinic will include tips and techniques along with basic photography guidelines.  If possible, please bring your camera.  Click here for the flyer.

Clothing and Nutrition Clinic - May 19, 2012

The clothing portion of this clinic is from 10:00 - 10:40 AM in the Arts & Crafts Building at the Delaware County Fairgrounds.  Come to learn more about seam finishes, hems and other tips and techniques to create your 4-H clothing project.

The foods & nutrition portion of this clinic is from 10:45 - 11:30 AM in the Arts & Crafts Building at the Delaware County Fairgrounds.  Come learn about the changes to fair judging - these are major this year and it is important for you to know what to expect.   Also there will be interactive tables on menu planning, tablesetting, Choose My Plate and more!

2012 Clothing Program Support

Our Master Clothing Educators will have several clinics and project help days for 4-H members with clothing projects.  Schedule and flyer to be posted soon. 

Horse Safety & Ethics Program - Monday, May 21, 2012

This program is required for all first year 4-H horse project memebers AND their parent/guardian.  The program is 7:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, May 21 in the Basement Meeting Room at the Extension Office.  Click here for the flyer and options for those that cannot attend the meeting.

Goat Clinic - Saturday, June 2, 2012

This clinic will take place after market goat tagging from 10:00 AM to noon at the Delaware County Fairgrounds to help you get started on your goat project. 

2012 Pack Goat Hike - Saturday, June 9

Get your goat and take a hike!  Come join the fun on on Saturday, June 9 at Alum Creek State Park.  If you have not taken a 4-H Pack Goat project this year, you are welcome to come too.  Click here for flyer.

Prepare for the Fair:  Criteria for Judging Vegetables and Flowers - Saturday, June 9

This clinic is June 9, 2012 from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at the Jr. Fair Building (fairgrounds) for 4-H'ers who wish to learn helpful hints and tips on how to prepare for judging of their vegetables or flowers for the Delaware County Fair.  Expert speakers will include Bill Cackler, Vegetable Judge, and Nancy Bendle, Flower Judge.  Click here for flyer.

Goat Showmanship Clinic - Saturday, July 14, 2012

This clinic is 9:30 AM to Noon on Saturday, July 14 in the grassy area near the Jr. Fair Building on the Delaware County Fairgrounds.  Come learn showmanship techniques to prepare you for fair!
