2011-2012 Program Training Dates, Pick-Up and Return Dates for Participating Teachers

Attend one of our training programs or check when to pick up or return program kits, if registered for a program this school year.  All trainings held and program materials must be picked up and returned to the Clark County Extension Office, 4400 Gateway Blvd., Suite 104, Springfield, OH  45502.

Developed by science educators at The Ohio State University, and guided by OSU Extension 4-H Youth Development Extension Educators, each 4-H School Enrichment program is targeted to meet selected science proficiency goals identified in Ohio's State Science Competency model.   Students will learn important concepts through a variety of hands-on science, math, language arts, art, social studies and social skills activities provided through each  4-H School Enrichment Program.

During 2010-2011 School Year, nearly 100 school classrooms working with nearly 2500 students participated in 4-H in the Classroom programs.  You can join the list of classrooms participating this school year.

Each participating classroom will be charged an annual $30.00 program fee to participate in the Clark County 4-H School Enrichment Program.  This fee covers the cost of supplies, materials, books, and administrative costs associated with registration in up to 2 programs per classroom.  You may use additional programs for an extra fee.  If your classroom or school is interested in participating in this program, please contact the Extension Office at 937-521-3860. We look forward to working with teachers and students together as we strive "To Make the Best Better" within the 4-H Program and your classroom.
